If you are looking for a cosy comfy country retreat to get away from it all. Then the Stables could be just for you!
Set within the grounds of Letheringham Lodge, you will enjoy idyllic countryside, wildlife and seclusion. The Stables are grade II * listed and have wonderful views across the fields with a beautiful moated island to have barbecues on.
Our pet trumpeter swans are friendly and keep themselves to the area around the lodge, but are fun to watch and listen to. Our pet spaniel will also not disturb you unless you want a cuddle!
The property features open stud work, exposed timbers and a cosy woodburner. The four bedrooms (two double and two single) are accompanied by two bathrooms, a lounge (two three seater sofas) and a dining room which seats 10 comfortably.
Ideal for a family get-away or a rural retreat with friends. Dogs are positively encouraged!
All beds are brand new and have 2000 springs with memory foam toppers so guaranteed to give you a wonderful peaceful sleep. In fact all the furniture is modern, new and easy to clean!
Essentials like coffee, tea, milk and bread are there to get you started.
Other facilities include dishwasher, washing machine and tumbler drier.
You are free to explore the 75 acres which includes two copses and five ponds which are often frequented by wild fallow deer.
Choose your ideal spot for your BBQ and we will provide you with a fire pit. Revetts, the famous butcher in Wickham will provide you with everything else!
You are given a key code and you can come and go 24 hours a day in complete privacy with easy parking near the cottage. You need never even meet us if that is your preference.
However, we would love to show you around the medieval hunting lodge free of charge at a time to suit you. We also offer a 2-hour sculpture class for up to 4 people for £60: clay, wax or plaster, your choice!
