Directions: take the Wickham Market junction off the A12. Go into the town square and you will see a green charity shop - St Elizabeth Hospice. Take the road to the left of this shop. At the next T-junction, turn left onto the B1078 to Clopton. After 2 miles you will pass Potsford Farm and shortly see 2 red brick cottages and 2 black posts with a sign saying ‘Letheringham Lodge’ - turn right up this drive and go directly through the electric gates. Park anywhere near the garages.
Around us: Letheringham Lodge is 1.5 miles from Wickham Market which has the famous Revetts Butcher (with sausages to die for!!). The Greyhound at Pettistree is only 6 minutes drive and serves superb pub grub. The Crown at Ufford is also a 'must' visit. Both allow you to bring your dog!
Campsea Ashe has a recommended auction house, and a local market on Monday mornings. The market towns of Framlingham and Woodbridge are also easily accessible and provide a wide range of shopping and leisure facilities.
The Suffolk Heritage Coast with the famous Shingle St beach is just a short 15 minute drive away. Snape, Aldeburgh, and Orford are all within easy reach and Easton farm park is less than 1.5 miles or a 3 minute drive away!
The nearest train station is Wickham Market - 10 minutes drive away. Twice hourly trains to London Liverpool St (1 hour 43 minutes). There is ample parking all around the Lodge.
Other Things to Note: We are very close to the long distance cycle path number 1 - Dover to Shetland. This links in to the most amazing selection of cycling opportunities around us in Suffolk.
